Privacy policy

This policy covers astrobabyname.com, which is run by ASTROZONE (OPC) Private Limited, Hassan, Karnataka, India (“we”).
The short version
- There are no accounts and no sign-up. We don’t sell personal data.
- Birth details you type into our tools, once they launch, will never be stored by this website.
- Analytics is not switched on yet, so today the site sets no cookies at all. When it is, we will use Google Analytics 4, with analytics cookies off by default in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
Analytics
Status: not active yet. This section describes how analytics will work once we switch it on; we will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
We will use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful: for example page views, the approximate location (country and city) and the type of device. Google Analytics uses cookies whose names start with _ga to tell visits apart.
It will run with Google Consent Mode v2. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is set to “denied” by default: no analytics cookies are set, and Google receives only cookieless measurements. Advertising storage is denied for everyone, because we don’t use Google’s advertising features. Analytics runs only on astrobabyname.com itself, never on test copies of the site.
Birth details in our tools
Some planned tools, such as the nakshatra name finder, need a baby’s date, time and place of birth. When you use them, those details go directly from your browser to ASTROZONE’s calculation service, which uses them to work out the birth star and send back the result. The place search sends the text you type to the same service to suggest matching places. This website does not store birth details, does not put them in page addresses (URLs) and does not send them to analytics.
Cookies and browser storage
Apart from the analytics cookies described above, once analytics is on and where they apply, this site sets no cookies. Pages with interactive tools may keep a short-lived technical flag in your browser’s session storage so they can reload once after we publish an update; it contains no personal data. If we add a way to choose your analytics setting, that choice will be kept in your browser’s local storage.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the service. We don’t use these logs to identify visitors.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to act on what you report.
Children
This site is meant for parents and other adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. We hold very little; write to hello@astrobabyname.com and we will tell you what, if anything, we have.

If our practices change we will update this page and the date at the top.
